Finding your niche community on the Internet is a great way to learn what others really want. If your niche audience is middle aged adults looking for a cure for acne, find where these discussions are taking place.
There are places all over the Internet; you just need to find your community. Some examples are places like Yahoo, Amazon, eHow, and forums. This is where you can find your audience.
Discovering Your Products and/or Services for Your Niche
Once you find this niche community, find out what they want. Maybe there is a product or service that doesn’t exist and you can provide that need. The best way to discover their need is to listen and ask.
Maybe you know of a product and /or service that is already available, you can become a solutions provider and be compensated for your efforts.
Map Out Your Plan
Once you have found your niche and your audience, now is the time to maps out your direction. You need to figure out how your product and/or service will be found and how to deliver it.
Marketing is one large aspect of your plan, however many newbie’s think their product and/or service will market itself. I’ve heard this countless times and many people just don’t understand that it doesn’t work that way. If you are in a network marketing company selling skin care and you were told it would sell itself, you should think twice. If this skin care product sells itself, why would they need you? Think about it.
Blogging to Communicate With Your Audience
Blogging is a very effective way to interact with an audience and generate leads for your business. Understand before you start a blog that it is not something that you are going to set up once and then leave for long periods of time. A good blog is one that shows consistent attention from the blogger. People are more interested in a blog that is relevant and shows frequent new posts.
There are a lot of key items to place in a blog when using it to attract an audience. You should not hold yourself back from starting your blog until you have all of these key items learned or in place. The important thing is that you move forward. Start the learning process and create the blog as you learn. The learning process will have you continually improving your blog and each improvement will increase your ability to generate leads with this platform. You will not be generating a huge number of leads in your first week, but if you perform consistent action, success will follow.
The key to successful blogging is to personalize it. Make sure your audience know you and feels connect to you. This is the best way to building a loyal audience.
